It was all gas, no brakes on Thursday as pitairport officials showcased the airport’s new parking setup — including a 3,300-space parking garage — in a media event before its new $1.7 billion terminal opens Tuesday morning. Joe Rotterdam, the airport’s director of commercial development, said that the five-floor parking garage is a “significant leap forward” from the existing garage, with more than twice as many spaces.
