1 year ago I became half robot! jk but I did get a rod and 2 screws drilled into my shin. As an athlete this is and was one of the hardest obstacles to navigate and overcome. I thank God for blessing me throughout this journey, for putting the greatest people and support system in my life, for teaching me new lessons, for overcoming mental battles, for growing as a person as and as an athlete, and for being able to continue my time as a D1 athlete. Thank you guys for your support on this journey of mine. Through the tears, countless hours of rehab, learning how to operate my body with a foreign object, learning new things about myself, I am so grateful to bring yall along with me. I am so excited to continue working hard and seeing what the future holds for me and my new leg.🥰
