One of my goals this year was to perform a live DJ set in a public place. I was honestly starting to think I might not do it (even though we’re only halfway through the year). But this weekend I did in fact achieve that goal 🙏🏼🔥 Was I nervous? Absolutely. Did I think I was going to mess up? Yeah, a lot. Was it fun? Even more than I expected. Did I mess up? Only a little! And I’m left with an appetite for more opportunities to mix live. Huge thank you to @oyehector and @spinningplaterecords for putting this event together. It was so much fun, and I’ll definitely be back. Until then, I’ll be over here practicing my transitions, curating my selections, and keeping my peepers peeled for the next live session.
