Native American Heritage Month: Sterlin Harjo Sterlin Harjo, an Oklahoma native of Seminole-Muskogee Creek heritage, grew up listening to great storytellers in his extended family. He continued his family tradition of storytelling by creating films, making it to Sundance, Toronto and Tribeca Film Festivals before co-creating the highly acclaimed FX Series, “Reservation Dogs,” winning many industry awards, including Peabody, Independent Spirit, AFI, Gotham, Television Academy, any other honors. He is the 2024 MacArthur Fellow and continues to work on projects like Netflix’s “Rez Ball” and “The Lowdown,” among many others.
