Ahead of today’s preseason game, we were joined by the Ottawa Charge in remembering and honouring eight-year-old Melody Xu, a hockey player from Oakville, ON.   On November 6th, Melody was involved in a tragic accident with her mother who was also injured and is now recovering. Melody was a proud member of the Oakville Hornets Hockey Association and part of the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association family.   Our hearts are with Melody’s loved ones, her teammates, and the entire Oakville community during this incredibly difficult time, and we wish her mother strength and a full recovery.
