Home Is Where the Heart Is 🧡 While Lost&Found works across the entire state of South Dakota and beyond, today we’re spotlighting Mitchell, SD—a shining example of what community commitment to mental health and suicide prevention looks like. Through impactful partnerships with organizations like Mitchell CASA - First Circuit CASA, Big Friend Little Friend of the Mitchell Area, LifeQuest of Mitchell, SD, Rooted 23, Tegan’s Light, Davison County Community Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Coalition, Avera St. Benedict Health Center, and Abbott House, over 670 individuals in Mitchell have been reached through trainings and presentations this year alone. The community also showed up in a big way for Chalk the Walk, transforming the sidewalks across their community into a powerful display of hope and resilience.
