Shabbat Shout-Out: Officer David 👮‍♂️🔧 Our School Resource Officer, Officer David, has officially graduated from the Police Academy! His motivation? His 6-year-old son — who once picked out a toy police truck and told the cashier, “My dad’s going to drive one of those one day.” 💙 “If you want it badly enough, you can do it,” he says. “I did it working full-time and studying seven days a week… with obscene amounts of coffee.” ☕ He brings that same drive to our Car Club elective, where students recently replaced a starter, battery, and relay to get the car running again. “Super proud of these boys and how they jumped in and got their hands dirty!” 🚗✨ Mazal tov, Officer David — your commitment to growth, learning, and service reflects everything we value here at DJDS.
