Our students were able to hear from one of the National Hockey League’s top executives during his work trip to Buffalo when Edmonton Oilers general manager Stan Bowman ’91 visited his alma mater this morning. Bowman, in town for tonight’s Oilers game against the Sabres at KeyBank Center, spent time with students in the Madden Center for Global Learning, discussing his time at CHS and taking questions about a variety of topics, including key decisions that have to be made about evaluating players and at the negotiating table. He spoke Monday morning to students taught by Bryce Hopkins ’08 who are taking our Marketing and Introduction to Sports Management classes, two of several dual-enrollment college courses CHS offers in partnership with Canisius University.
