The Shedeur Sanders arc is already elite writing.
Man slid in the draft, pulled up to camp as QB4, basically taking reps behind the ball boy… and found himself playing after Dillon Gabriel went down with an injury
And that debut was less than the Browns fans hoped for.
He missed some reads, had a pick and a fumble, but almost lead the Browns to a win. So, it wasn’t ALL bad, because you can see the talent in flashes, but that first outing had “welcome to the NFL” written in bold, underlined, and highlighted.
It’s only one game, and rookies get better fast…but if that’s the floor, the ceiling is scary.
Clean up the rookie mistakes, keep that poise in the clutch, and Shedeur’s story might go from ‘rough debut’ to ‘remember where you were when it started.'
