Popular entertainer couple Wayne Marshall and Tami Chin-Mitchell brought more than relief supplies to residents in Trelawny this week, they brought music, worship, and a moment of unity.
While delivering care packages, Marshall began singing his hit “Glory to God”, and residents quickly joined in, turning the relief stop into an uplifting chorus of hope.
Marshall said the visit reminded him that recovery is not only about food and shelter, but “people, stories and community.” He added that in that moment, “we realized we weren’t just giving — we were receiving.”
The couple continues to support communities hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa, reminding Jamaicans that “we are all in this together.”
