While the renaissance is anything but a “perfect” time (as it sparked some truly devastating movements), it did pave the way for a new line of thinking for a continent that was pretty backwards. Concepts like the scientific method were revived along with important discoveries in everything from anatomy to the sun. It was a time where dogmatic thinking waned in popularity which led the way to pursuing truth (work that’s never done if we’re going to be honest!). When starting Dieux, we saw a lot of parallels to our current age, where we have so much information, yet, it seems like we are entering another dark age for innovation and progress. We hope that by following evidence, self-correcting and teaching everyone about the miracle of science, more people experience the awakening that is curiosity. #dieuxdocs
