A fight over food, and who can sell it where and when, continues in Fresno. After cries from the community, the city of Fresno is now considering an amendment to its proposed ban on sidewalk food vendors selling on the weekends in the Tower District. The proposal calls for a ban on sidewalk vending in the tower district between 6 PM and 3 AM on weekends. The amendment highlights violation fees and includes fees up to $500. First violation: written warning Second violation: fine up to $100. Third violation: fine up to $200. Fourth violation: fine up to $500.
