The superintendent of a Brooklyn apartment building was killed after trying to fight off someone who was stealing packages in the building lobby, according to police and neighbors. Police were called about an attack inside the building on Ocean Avenue in Flatbush. Responding officers found a man who had suffered head injuries, and he was rushed to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.
