The night before the sunrise. We got to Moonscape Overlook early and wandered out into the dark — no trails, no lights, just the sound of the wind and an ocean of shadows below. I climbed up onto this pedestal and looked out into absolute nothingness… just a drop into the dark and a sky filled with a ridiculous amount of stars. There’s something wild about standing in a place that’s so quiet, so remote, and so dark that the night feels endless. Just you, the universe, and a beam of light cutting through the silence.
