Not much can be said to explain what I got to experience last night. I wanna start by thanking the countless number of people who have reached out, and for all those who have shared in the joy with us. I know San Diego has been waiting for this moment for a long time! While it’s my name that is in the spotlight, my teammates, my coaches and most of all my Catcher... the scientist... @caratini17 deserve a huge amount of the credit. It blows my mind that I was able to do this in a @padres uniform and it’s reassured me that life will reward those who start. Whatever dream, whatever goal, whatever desires you have.... go after them and do not let the fear of failure keep you from the possibility of achieving something you might not (right now) see as attainable.
