Another “Mondays are for the birds”, and this one is where art meets real life. 🎨🦩 Our flamingos are some of the most vibrant animals here at Your Birmingham Zoo, and now they have a larger-than-life tribute! Over this past weekend, we unveiled our brand-new 7-foot-tall flamingo statue by Nelson Grice. The sculpture is a stunning piece celebrating the beauty and personality of these iconic birds. There’s much more to come about this incredible artwork 👀✨ from the artist’s inspiration to how it found its perfect home here at the Zoo.
