Politely ask your camera (or director) to turn away when you’re off camera so you can look down at your notes. This is very helpful (especially after halftime coach chats) because they happen quickly and you have to be able to report exactly what the coach has told you. I’m also watching the field, while talking, to make sure I don’t talk over the snap. There is a rhythm and cadence to wrapping up your reports on time! #collegefootball #reporting #tv #sideline
