Smith Golden Bulls for taking home the CIAA championship win and the Albany State Golden Rams for winning the SIAC football championship this past weekend. 📍This was especially historic for JCSU, being their first CIAA championship win since 1969, which leads to more HBCU football history. For the first time in history, five HBCU teams will be in the NCAA Division Il playoffs. The SIAC’s trio includes Albany State as the No. 1 seed in their region, Benedict returning via at-large bid, and Kentucky State making its first-ever appearance.
