Our very own Tigers triumphed up in Boulder this past weekend, competing in the statewide Moot Court tournament where the DJDS team earned a third straight state title, continuing an extraordinary run of excellence. This year’s results were outstanding: 🏆🌟🎉 10 of the top 20 scores statewide 🏆🌟🎉 3 students in the top six 🎉🥇🥇 Both available final-round spots went to DJDS 🐅⚖️ Cooper Coughlan won the tournament’s Best Overall award. 🐅⚖️ Holden Demain won Best Oral Argument in the final round (in a rare tie), making him the co-champion of the tournament. They also had the opportunity to meet and stand with the Colorado Court of Appeals judges who presided over the championship round — an inspiring moment for our emerging advocates. Every student competed with poise, preparation, and teamwork—the hallmarks of our Moot Court community.
