Our very own Tigers triumphed up in Boulder this past weekend, competing in the statewide Moot Court tournament where the DJDS team earned a third straight state title, continuing an extraordinary run of excellence.
This yearโs results were outstanding:
๐๐๐ 10 of the top 20 scores statewide
๐๐๐ 3 students in the top six
๐๐ฅ๐ฅ Both available final-round spots went to DJDS
๐
โ๏ธ Cooper Coughlan won the tournamentโs Best Overall award.
๐
โ๏ธ Holden Demain won Best Oral Argument in the final round (in a rare tie), making him the co-champion of the tournament.
They also had the opportunity to meet and stand with the Colorado Court of Appeals judges who presided over the championship round โ an inspiring moment for our emerging advocates.
Every student competed with poise, preparation, and teamworkโthe hallmarks of our Moot Court community.
Many thanks to coaches and DJDS parents (and attorneys) Nosson Knobloch and Alonit Katzman, CU law student Haley Rimmer, and our own UD Pr...
