A father and son duo, 63-year-old Faustino Alamo and 25-year-old Luis Angel Alamo, were murdered outside their Little Village jewelry store while trying to stop a robbery.⁠ ⁠ Chicago police said one male suspect entered the jewelry store, displayed a gun and demanded property. After obtaining property and exiting the building, a fight occurred between the suspect and the father and son. Surveillance video showed the Alamos run after the robber and gunshots erupt.
