Officially 2 weeks post-op! 🥳 I competed & trained with a left hip labrum tear for over a year, & it took a toll mentally & physically. I’m excited to see what I can do once I’m fully healed-especially after my surgeon said, “I don’t know how you were competing with a tear this big.” Huge thank you to Dr. Marc Philippon & his team for taking THE BEST care of me! Definitely have made this journey a lot smoother & thank you to everyone who was involved in helping me get this surgery. Due to my injury & surgery, I received a MEDICAL EXEMPTION through the United States Olympic Committee & USA Boxing.
