Peace isn’t an accident. It’s a choice, made in living rooms, in communities, and in policies that uphold every child’s right to safety, education, and dignity.
On World Children’s Day, I’m reminded that children aren’t asking for much… just a world that doesn’t fail them.
Their laughter depends on the decisions we make. Their opportunities depend on the systems we build. Their futures depend on whether we choose compassion over convenience, and equity over excuses.
If we want a peaceful world tomorrow, we must create it through laws that protect children, leaders who prioritise them, and a society that refuses to look away.
Because every peaceful future begins with the courage to invest in a child today.
