The Candidate Forum for Congressional Districts 16 and 17 was a meaningful and impactful gathering for our community. More than 75 attendees joined us to engage directly with candidates across multiple races, reflecting a strong commitment to informed civic participation. We were grateful to collaborate with respected community partners, including the League of Women Voters and AAUW Rockford IL, whose presence helped strengthen the educational value of the forum. Throughout the event, community members asked thoughtful questions, learned about key policy priorities, and had the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to represent them. Our moderators guided the conversations with professionalism and clarity, ensuring a respectful and informative dialogue.
