If you feel these symptoms, it’s already too late:
Cramps, chills, dizziness, sudden increased perceived effort, a spike in heart rate while on the course, the clock is ticking and you could either DNF or forget about your PR.
Here’s the thing:
If I’m losing 1600mg/hr, taking 1-2 x 500mg sodium electrolytes just isn’t enough and I’m not even accounting for heat, humidity, you name it.
So what I'm saying here is that understanding your numbers is a game-changer.
