Our Eat. Learn. Play. Bus pulled up to the Oakland Día de los Muertos Festival for the very first time, and the energy was amazing! This beloved celebration in the Fruitvale neighborhood is organized by our friends at the_unity_council and has been bringing the community together for 30 years. With our partners at ACCFB, ckoakland, and the oaklitcoalition, we shared culturally affirming books, healthy snacks, and fresh produce with kids and families taking in the festival’s music, art, and altar installations.
