As we celebrate the upcoming Ducati’s centenary (1926–2026) and the close of an extraordinary racing season, we’re bringing back two liveries that shaped our story. It’s the 1970s. Superbike as we know it doesn’t exist yet, but Ducati is already charging toward the future with confidence and clarity. The racing victories of that decade serve as both compass and beacon, showing the way and lighting it up as we go.​ That spirit returns to the track today with two liveries that honour the racing heritage of Borgo Panigale.​ Francesco Bagnaia rides in colours inspired by the legendary 750 Imola Desmo, remembered worldwide for the remarkable one-two finish by Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari at the 1972 Imola 200.
