On Tuesday, TanenbaumCHAT students heard from activist and speaker Luai Ahmed, who shared his personal journey from growing up in Yemen, surrounded by antisemitic and anti-Western messaging, to becoming a Muslim Zionist dedicated to building bridges. Luai spoke candidly about unlearning deeply held biases, choosing curiosity over hate, and working to create meaningful dialogue between Jewish and Muslim communities. His message of growth, courage, and connection resonated deeply with our students.
