Applications are now open for the 2026-27 O’Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism!
The fellowship provides experienced journalists with nine months of dedicated support to pursue an in-depth public service reporting project. Fellows receive a $75,000 salary (throughout 9 months), comprehensive travel and research funding, and the opportunity to work alongside a team of Marquette student journalists.
Completed projects are published in collaboration with the Fellows’ home newsroom or an approved partner outlet.
