For their richly layered space, Mark and Mikal Eckström asked for something almost never requested in wallcovering: a “water-damaged” patina. A finish that feels timeworn, lived-in, and collected, yet still undeniably refined. Our artists got straight to work testing, dripping, softening, and layering pigment until the effect felt effortless. The result? A custom take on our hand painted wallcovering that floods the room with a subtle wash of color and texture, becoming the perfect backdrop for the salon’s mix of art, objects, and quiet grandeur.
