Man….what a night here in Fairbanks. After originally driving 3 hours North and not getting Aurora before cloud cover came in. We made our way back to our Airbnb in Fairbanks where we jokingly said “watch the clouds somehow clear and the Aurora just go over head”. Well, um. Yeah. Not even an hour later a random break in the clouds (when Fairbanks had virtually 0 chance of clear skies) and the Aurora absolutely erupted over us.
