Update #3! The basement! So this was a crazy expensive job but it was so worth the investment. I’m definitely appreciative of it today now that it’s raining. I can’t believe the diy rig that the previous owner put down there (so sketchy!) I was shocked by all the water holes down there. I can now say that the two French drains that were installed work very well as well as the dehumidifier. No mold and minimal musty smell. Bit by bit our electrician is chipping away at our house trying to learn the ins and outs. The first thing I had him do was to add designated outlets for each sump pump and make the electrical in the basement safe and sound. With each project, I get closer and closer to doing the fun stuff. DESIGN AND DECORATING! Can’t wait until that’s all I have on my mind. Also glad to report that I graduated from Ramen to real food. 😂 oh and yes, I asked these grown men to line up and wave at the camera.
