The Center for Black Entrepreneurship (CBE) hosted its second annual Black Entrepreneurship Research Symposium yesterday at The Gathering Spot — a collaboration between the Black Economic Alliance Foundation, Spelman College, and Morehouse College. The event highlighted 14 research projects funded by the CBE this year, showcasing groundbreaking work from scholars across the country. The symposium also featured keynote remarks from Jeffrey Robinson, Prudential Chair in Business at Rutgers Business School, and Robert W. Fairlie, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor of Public Policy and Economics at UCLA and UC Santa Cruz. Additionally, Andre M. Perry, Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution and author of the Black Power Scorecard, hosted a book signing and guests enjoyed a reception to close out the event. #NationalEntrepreneurshipMonth
