As the day comes to a close, we want to express an immense amount of gratitude on behalf of ourselves and Zarah… Zarah is an elderly cat that was set to be euthanized yesterday. She was found as a stray and after one medical exam it was determined that due to her age and her medical conditions that she wasn’t worth it 😭 She wasn’t worth the time. She wasn’t worth the money. She simply wasn’t worth saving. Zarah was meant to finish her mandatory stray hold and then be euthanized on November 19th. We received a call from our friends at Minneapolis Animal Care & Control (MACC). They couldn’t do it. They didn’t want Zarah’s 18 years of life to end that way. When they looked into her eyes, they saw a cat that still leaned into a gentle touch. A cat that still purred. A cat that still had love to give and a life to live. We picked Zarah up a couple ...
