Suicide is the leading cause of death for South Dakotans ages 20–39, and the second leading cause nationwide for ages 20–34. The need for mental health education, resources, and community connection has never been more urgent.
That’s why Lost&Found works year-round to build resilience in young adults through peer mentorship, suicide prevention trainings, and campus programs. So far in 2025, we’ve served 20 campuses and reached over 1,300 students through our life-saving programming.
