Today's Shabbat Shout out is going to the DJDS Esports team! Our very own Tigers have officially made it to the Sweet 16 in the state playoffs— the best finish in program history. But this shout-out isn’t just about rankings. It’s about teamwork, resilience, communication, and focus — the same skills we celebrate in Moot Court, athletics, and every collaborative program at DJDS. Esports at DJDS began as a one-week intensive back in 2018. After pandemic delays, the program relaunched as a weekly elective, leading to our first real season in Spring 2024. 🎮 Since then, the team has improved every season: 🎮 Spring 2024: Ranked #24, first round playoff exit 🎮 Fall 2024: Missed playoffs by one spot 🎮 This season: Best record ever at 6–2, including four straight shutout wins, and a highest-ever ranking of #13 🎮 We play our first sweet 16 round on Monday 12/1 against #4 ranked North High School.
