WHUR 96.3 FM’s Food2Feed radiothon brought the DMV together, raising more than $61,000 and a truckload of non-perishable food for families experiencing hardship. With the government shutdown and SNAP pauses fueling food insecurity, each dollar donated will provide two meals to the estimated 1.5 million people in need. Funds go to the Capital Area Food Bank and Shabach Ministries to ensure access to nutritious food.
