People love to say, “What you need is usually the thing you avoid.” And honestly? In yoga, that’s often true. But here’s something I’ve seen over and over again in my trainings: The thing you want — a stronger practice, clarity, inspiration, time for yourself — is usually the doorway into the thing you actually need.
You don’t have to pretend you’re only coming for meditation or philosophy. You don’t have to feel guilty because you love the physical practice. You don’t need to apologize for wanting to feel strong, connected, expressive, or lit up again.
Because when you deepen your physical practice…
you also deepen your awareness, your presence, your self-trust, your connection to your own body and mind.
You learn your patterns.
You learn your strength.
You learn how to show up for yourself again.
And all of that is the inner work.
That’s why teacher trainings are so transformative:
they meet you where you are, but they don’t leave you where they found you.
And your practice does...
