This UK Disability History Month, we’re spotlighting our Learning Disabilities Special Interest Group (SIG) a community of GPs and specialists across the UK dedicated to improving care and outcomes for people with learning disabilities. Here’s what the group offers: • Quarterly evening meetings with expert speakers • A lively WhatsApp community for learning, queries, policy updates and shared resources • Input into national work on annual health checks, coding and reasonable adjustments Led by Honorary Chair Dr Kirsten Lamb, the group has grown to over 100 members, all committed to driving better understanding, better care, and better outcomes.
