As we reach two months since Elias passed, we continue to feel his absence every single day, but we’re also feeling his presence in new and beautiful ways. There are still tears and moments where the grief catches us off guard, but there have also been so many glimpses of light: shared smiles as we remember his jokes, stories that bring back his laughter, and little moments that remind us of the joy he brought into our lives. We’re learning to move through this journey one day at a time, leaning on each other and on the incredible love surrounding us. The future looks different than we ever imagined, but we are choosing hope. We trust that God sees the path ahead even when we don’t, and we’re leaning into His guidance as we slowly find our way forward.
