Even on a gloomy November afternoon, Coral Story Beauty lures customers in like a candy store of cosmetics — shelves on shelves of creams and cleansers weaving through colorful art prints, leafy plants and bold pink accents.
With dozens of clean beauty brands available to peruse — many from BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit creators — it’s the perfect place to lose track of time. You can spend an hour browsing soap bars and eye shadow palettes, each printed with intricate designs by Native American artist Lauren Good Day, then finish the day off with a facial.
It’s a full circle moment for owner Morning Dove Barranger, who started Coral Story Beauty as a pop-up business in October 2018.
