Two weeks of critical conversations about our planet’s future just wrapped up in Belém, Brazil. And while #COP30 didn’t wrap with one simple “win” or “loss”, it moved important work forward—showing what’s possible when countries stay at the table and keep pushing together. We arrived in Belém knowing the world is behind on climate action. But over these two weeks, we also saw real signs of progress. Countries, Indigenous leaders, businesses and civil society showed genuine ambition—and a shared commitment to delivering climate solutions. The Amazon has reminded the world what we stand to lose—and what we can still protect. What’s next? Applying the lessons learned in Belém to secure lasting solutions before the end of the decade.
