Congratulations to Kari ’29, who has been named a 2025 AVCA National Player of the Year Finalist! 🏐 Kari is the only freshman among the four finalists, competing alongside three seniors from across the country. “I am so proud of Kari,” said Cheryl Weaver, Varsity Head Volleyball Coach. “To earn Volleyball Player of the Year as a freshman is something the AVCA has never seen, and she did it through steady work, humility, and heart. She showed up every day ready to learn and ready to compete. This honor reflects the way she carries herself on and off the court. She earned it in every way.” All finalists have been invited to the 2025 AVCA All-America Banquet in Kansas City on Dec. 19, where each athlete will be honored and the National Player of the Year will be announced.
