LIONS EDGED BY VILLA PARK IN TOURNEY TITLE GAME: The jserra.girlsbasketball team suffered its' first defeat of the season on Saturday, as the Lions were defeated by the Villa Park Spartans 44-40 in the championship game of the Villa Park/Portola Kickoff Classic at Villa Park High School. The Lions are now 3-1. Junior Vivian Grenald had a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Junior Rosie Santos scored eight points and added four assists.
