LIONS BASK IN DUAL CHAMPIONSHIP GLOW AT CIF-SS FINALS: It was a day of historical championship-winning performances for both the jserra.tfxc Boys and Girls Cross Country teams on Saturday at the 2025 CIF-SS Divisional Finals at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. In the Division 4 boys’ race, JSerra (the top-ranked Division 4 team in the state) and Foothill Technology (the No. 2 ranked team in the state) engaged in a thrilling down-to-wire battle. Senior Jack Burnett (14:39.6), senior Luke Friedl (14:43.6), senior Alden Morales (14:46.4), and junior Zac O’Leary (14:50), each scored in the top 10. Foothill Technology had its’ four top runners score in the top 12, and the two teams were tied with one scorer remaining. Senior Cole Carlson completed the Lions' scoring compression when he stepped across the finish line in 15:02.3, three places ahead of Foothill Technology’s final scorer.
