Last week I became a kingfisher dad for 24 hours. Story time: I found this little guy on the ground, I think he was over heated or confused but very friendly. I moved him out the way of any cats or mink around and let him rest up for a night. The box had no lid on and he could have left at any time. But the next morning her was waiting for me to take him back down to the river. He chilled on the fence for me whilst I took some photos and then he flew off.
