During this event, Trainers worldwide can unite against this Ruinous Pokémon for a chance to add it to their teams. Unlike standard Tera Raid Battles, Shiny Chien-Pao cannot be caught upon being defeated. Instead, if the total number of player victories against this Pokémon collectively meets or exceeds one million during its event period, Shiny Chien-Pao will subsequently be available to claim via Mystery Gift during its distribution period. For every one hundred thousand player victories collectively exceeding one million against this Pokémon, a Tera Shard Set—each containing 40 Tera Shards—will also be distributed (up to a maximum of 10 sets total).
