Edwardsville IL - SIUE Cougars siuewbb hosted the Evansville Aces on Tuesday night at the First Community Arena. The Cougars would improve to 4-2, on the season, coming away with a 75-69 win. The freshman duo of Lauren Miller lauren_amiller and Kiyoko Proctor kiyokoproctor8 would combine for 38 points. Miller was especially strong in the paint in her 32 minutes on the floor. Proctors strong transition game helped her grab 16 points. The Aces would make a run in the 4th quarter going 8-12 from 3 point range to close the gap, but clutch free throws by the Cougars would give them the edge.
