I have 7 years of sobriety!!!! Can’t believe how fast the time has flown by! My life was an absolute train wreck when I started going to AA. In those rooms, you learned a lot about yourself from other people‘s stories. You learn little cheesy sayings that become gold in your pocket. The best one of those sayings is “one day at a time..” I have lived 2,560 days at a time 😁. I also learned in this process that drinking was hardly my worst problem, but I couldn’t face it if I wasn’t sober. The holidays certainly have a way making things come to ahead. Most of y’all are having a great time as you should! To the ones like me that can’t stop once they start, maybe give AA a try. you wouldn’t believe how much easier your life is after you get that monkey off your back, and you’ll make some rad friends along the way!
