The Baltimore Ravens had a chance to build upon their AFC North lead on Thanksgiving against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Instead, the Bengals were able to play spoiler, earning a 32-14 victory over the Ravens in Joe Burrow's return to the lineup.
Burrow played in his first game since Week 2 after missing nine games with a significant turf toe injury. The 28-year-old quarterback looked a little bit rusty in the first half, as Cincinnati wasn't able to score a touchdown. However, he quickly rounded into form, showing pinpoint accuracy on touchdown throws to Tanner Hudson and Andrei Iosivas in the second half to put the Bengals in full control.
The victory had to be vindicating for Zac Taylor and the Bengals, who faced scrutiny amid their decision to play Burrow with their team sporting a 3-8 record and being playoff longshots. They remain well back in the AFC playoff race despite their victory, but the win will at least keep them within striking distance in the AFC North race.
