On Thanksgiving morning, a Portland small business owner decided shelter pets deserved a holiday treat of their own. Kristen Martin, the owner and baker behind doggie food cart Bring! Treats for Dogs, spent the week baking nearly 110 “pupcakes” — dog-friendly frosting-topped cupcakes. She delivered them Thursday to animals at the Oregon Humane Society in Portland.
